When we introduced the original Tuk in 2019, we set out to explore how far a compact powered system could go. With its Air Motion Transformer tweeter, Tuk delivered exceptional clarity and detail, establishing itself as our flagship model.

Seven years later, as Kanto enters a new chapter with a refreshed visual identity and brand approach, we saw an opportunity to evolve Tuk alongside it. Tuk G2 and Tuk Grand build on the foundation of the original with redesigned cabinet architecture, increased internal volume, refined driver integration, and new finishes, bringing a fresh perspective to the speaker that helped define our powered lineup.

Sound: How Does G2 Compare to G1?

With Tuk G2, you can expect a more natural, balanced sound profile, with greater control and consistency across the room — sound intended for the long listen.

Wider Sound Dispersion: Drawing on years of feedback on the original Tuk, we’ve reworked the DSP and crossover in Tuk G2 to achieve a more balanced sound signature. The updated tuning brings greater restraint to the treble while preserving the clarity and detail of the AMT tweeter.

Deeper Low End: G2's increased cabinet volume and carefully tuned drivers extend the low-frequency response compared to G1, adding greater depth and impact while keeping the bass tight and controlled.

Smarter DSP: More precise digital signal processing fine-tunes the interaction between G2's drivers and cabinet, helping create a more balanced sound profile, from low to high frequencies.

Design: Evolving the Tuk Form

Where the previous generation was designed to blend in, Tuk G2 and Tuk Grand take a more confident approach with sharper lines, considered proportions, and a more architectural form. Designed to complement both high-performance listening setups and curated living spaces, the latest Tuk models pair their acoustic capabilities with a material palette built around warmth, tactility, and lasting appeal.

Handmade cabinetry: High-density acoustic MDF is finished with premium real wood veneers and hand-polished lacquers, bringing warmth and depth to the cabinet.

Metallic detailing: Laser-engraved aluminum cones are paired with matching metallic trims for an elevated appearance.

Timeless styling: A balanced design approach brings together distinctive details, lasting materials, and confident proportions designed to feel at home in a range of spaces.

Tuk G2 and Tuk Grand bring together familiar, widely supported connections for everyday listening for years to come. Optical, USB-C audio, Bluetooth®, and dual RCA inputs connect TVs, computers, turntables, and mobile devices, keeping your setup versatile yet simple to use.

For listeners who want to build beyond the basics, both models support additional components like a phono stage, network streamer, or external DAC. The result is a flexible foundation that works beautifully out of the box and leaves room to grow with your listening preferences and new technologies. An integrated USB power output even lets you power compatible devices, such as streamers, directly from your Tuk system.

Tuk G2 vs. Tuk Grand

For those comparing the 2nd Gen products, the difference is simple: it all comes down to scale. Tuk Grand features a larger cabinet, re-engineered drivers, and an amplifier system delivering 30% more RMS power than Tuk G2. Its 6" aluminum woofer also extends down to 40 Hz, compared to 50 Hz on G2, for deeper low-frequency performance.
